A Word For 2024

With every January‘s arrival, we are encouraged to make New Year’s resolutions for the coming year. During this period of reflection and circumspection, we ponder what to tell our family and friends about our expected accomplishments for the year. Experts say to develop a modest number of goals with measurable outcomes. They also encourage us to write down the milestones and put them in a place where we see them often, such as our bathrooms or refrigerators.

Instead of coming up with specific resolutions for 2024, I’ve settled upon a word: Fearless. My hope is that I will be fearless in all my professional and personal endeavors. Fearless when having uncomfortable discussions. Fearless when exercising courage and forthrightness. Fearless enough to dare without taking undue risk. Fearless while living with integrity and authenticity. Fearless.
